Grasby Dissenters Certificate 
FB2/304
On the 15th day of December in the year of our Lord 1787.  The dwelling house of John Robinson, situate at Grassby in the county and Diocese of Lincoln was certified as a place of Religious Worship for His Majestys Protestant Subjects dissenting from the Church of England.

On the 18th day of January 1812 a certain house belonging to Matthew Burkinshaw situate in the parish of Grasby in the County and Diocese of Lincoln was certified as places of Religious Worship for those of his Majestys Protestant subjects dissenting from the Church of England commonly called Methodists.

On the 3rd day of January 1823 the dwelling house and premises of Thomas Gileat situate in the Parish of Grasby in the County and diocese of Lincoln was certified as a place of Religious Worship for Protestant Dissenters.

On the 2nd day of April 1841 a newly erected building or Weslyan Chapel situate at Grasby in the County of Lincoln was duly certified as a place of Religious Worship for Protestant Dissenters.


FB2/64   William Burwell - Licence to practise Surgery.

On the 10th day of July in the year of our Lord 1775,  William Burwell of Grasby in the county and Diocese of Lincoln was licensed to practise Chirurery having exhibited a Testimonial of his due Qualifications and taken the oath of Allegiance and Supremacy.

On the 7th day of May in the year of our Lord 1879 letters of Sequestration of all and singular, the tithes, fruit offerings, obventions and all other ecclesiastical rights and emoluments of and belonging to the Vicarage of Grasby in the County and Diocese of Lincoln were granted to F W Stephenson and H Smith the Churchwardens of the said parish and to their successors the Churchwar
